Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician that is looking to have his/her technical skills fully utilized at our family-owned small animal practice. Do you want a place to call your work home…where you can have a voice to bring your ideas and have the possibility to implement them…where you can take part in the growth of the practice by being able to grow in your expertise? These things that aren't experienced when you work at corporate animal hospitals are the very things we help make possible for members of our team!

LVT duties will include, but are not limited to, lifting 50 lb and standing/bending for long periods of time, assisting the Veterinarian in surgery and doctor exams, in-patient and out-patient care, performing technician exams, dispensing drugs, performing dental prophies, performing radiographs (including dental radiographs), medical record notation, housekeeping, up-to-date client education, exceptional customer service, inducing/maintaining/monitoring anesthesia, performing in-house tests, administering vaccines, performing cystocentesis, preparing and reading impression smears, ear cytologies and skin scrapings, performing ocular tonometry, schirmer tear tests and fluorescein stains, applying splints/bandages, IV catheterization and administration of IV fluids.
