Licensed Veterinary Technician

Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician that is looking to have his/her technical skills fully utilized at our family-owned small animal practice. LVT duties will include, but are not limited to, lifting 50 lb and standing/bending for long periods of time, assisting the Veterinarian in surgery and doctor exams, in-patient and out-patient care, performing technician exams, dispensing drugs, performing dental prophies, performing radiographs (including dental radiographs), medical record notation, housekeeping, up-to-date client education, exceptional customer service, inducing/maintaining/monitoring anesthesia, performing in-house tests, administering vaccines, performing cystocentesis, preparing and reading impression smears, ear cytologies and skin scrapings, performing ocular tonometry, schirmer tear tests and fluorescein stains, applying splints/bandages, IV catheterization and administration of IV fluids.
